Data cabling

This involves the installation of predominantly Catergaoty 5e (Cat5) or Category 6 (Cat6) copper cables within your site. This cabling is used to link your computers, servers, internet and email and more recently your telephones.
It is an exact science and every cable needs to be properly verified by the latest test equipment.

Telephone Techniques are certified installers of ADC Krone and Clipsal Cat5 and Cat6 cabling. These are two of the most reputable brands in computer cabling.

Fibre Optic cabling

Fibre optic cabling is mainly used to link communications cabinets which may be as little as 50 metres or may be kilometres apart. The fibre optic cabling carries all the data between these cabinets and if not installed correctly will not be capable of the full theoretical capacity between the cabinets.

This may not be noticeable when first installed but as the demand increases, a poorly designed or installed system will begin to let you down.
